No 'Poo; Day 1

Hey guys! I'm done with (most of) my SATs, APs, and all that so I now have time to devote to this blog. Well sorry for the guy who commented on the last post requesting a post about new spring trends... but this is a beauty post. :'( We are currently broke; BUT we'll be posting some outfit posts up soon I hope.

Well today is going to be the start of my whole no shampooing regimen. I know, I know. It sounds really, really gross. But after reading this post I am finally convinced to give this thing a try. I'm gonna be gross and cranky for the first few days (or God forbid, the first few WEEKS) but I am a self-appointed bad ass and I will go through with this. I will be updating on my hair's status as it goes along for anyone who's thinking about trying it but is not totally sure about it. (You can all thank me later.)

Before I go, I'd like you to meet my new best friend.

I swear, this stuff works like a charm. I've tried ALL kinds of dry shampoos and none have made my hair look good. Either it's ashy or greasy or both. This does neither!

But yeah, that's it for now. I'll keep you updated!

Dying, slowly dying.

Plaid shirt- F21
Sun & moon shorts (OH YES)- Thrift
Basketweave shoes that you can't really see- F21
Chihuahua- The street

I give my condolences, to you daydreamdelirium, for you have been slowly dying, but I will try my best to keep you alive. Nancy and I are probably the worst bloggers ever, and I thank you readers for bearing through these half-humored, half-fashionable, and completely absurd posts. Anyway, we will try to post more, definitely. We are both starting personal blogs, and that will be up soon. Don't worry-- we are keeping daydreamdelirium and hopefully modifying it. For now, stay beautiful, y'all.

My Guilty Pleasure.

I'm about to faint. My sad, empty pockets agonize for these beauties. Life is pretty sad when you're broke.

JESUS!

Latinate lesson of the day (I might start doing these more often, get ready):
WHERE HATH SHE ACQUIRE THIS AESTHETICALLY PLEASING ILLUSTRATION OF THE HEAVENS AND STARS UPON OUR EVERLASTING UNIVERSE?
Where did she find this cute-ass picture of space?

Isn't it completely, utterly amazeballs?
Sorry for the majoro non-posting for like sixty thousand years, but as Katie said, school is a big giant slap in the face. And you know what else is a giant slap in the face? SATs. The things we, as the youth, do to achieve standing positions in higher ranking universities.

Coming up! Pictures of my "Psycho" themed photoshoot, all shot by my friend, Connie Ho! It'll be up Wednesday.

CHALLENGE: Monochrome

Currently Listening: Elizabeth & The Catapult- "Taller Children"

So, sorry for the long-ass hiatus, my dear readers (yes, all 3 of you)! School is like a big slap in the face right now, but I promise I'm going to start posting more soon.

Anyway, this week's challenge is monochrome.

So, how do you wear monochrome without looking like a big blob of awkward?
- Accessorize, if that's not already a given
- Vary the length of your top & bottom. Imagine a big yellow sweater & yellow skinny jeans. Hooray for tacky-ness!
- Try denim on denim.
- Also, try different shades of the same color. Maybe like a fiery red & a maroon?

Hm, sorry for my lackadaisical tips. As you can see, I'm very fatigue from school, especially since I just used an SAT word.

Floral headband- DIY
Oxford button down- Thrift
Recurrence of the mom jean cutoffs- DIY Thrift
Cole Haan Loafers- Nancy's, but she left it at my house, so they're temporarily mine, muahaha

Long awaited thrift haul

Well, I'm back. ALREADY. These are thrift finds that I bought a few weeks back during Labor Day weekend, but I've finally gotten around to altering most of them and posting them. Enjoy!

Three vintage glasses

Two vintage skirts, and a pair of vintage Levi's that I altered

Vintage skirt, tailored shorts, and a dress that used to be the ugliest jumper in the world

Three vintage pussybow blouses

Two vintage button-downs and a cardigan

The mess I made :(

And the best part? I got all of this (plus more that isn't on this post) for $4. Total. Hate me? I would too.
